I know how daunting it can be to approach a genealogist for help. I’ve done it myself in the past. So before starting any research I offer a FREE EVALUATION of your research project or task. This includes an assessment of the information that you have, a proposed plan of action and an estimate of costs. See also my Terms and Conditions, and also rest assured of my confidentiality as detailed in my Privacy Policy. The evaluation will detail how much time and the cost of each step of research along with a brief explanation of the reason for the action. This will enable you to pick and choose which path of research you would like to take. If you have just one task you need doing such as obtaining a copy of an entry in a parish register, I am very happy to undertake small tasks of research, as and when you would like them to be done.
